Sea Sons Dive Club was formed as the San Bernardino county search and rescue team in 1955 [we believe we are the oldest active club in existence], originally all were die hard hunters but through the years have mellowed into divers who love to go diving. We still hunt but it is no longer the focus of our activities. We are not looking for “members”, we are looking for new friends. We welcome divers as long as they are [comfortable in the water] and like the idea of diving with others that like to do the same. ''we are more like a family than a club'' We genuinely care about each others well being and are close friends. Membership requires coming to meetings held once a week in Rialto, Ca for several meetings to meet the members. Eligibility for membership requires a unanimous vote and sponsorship by a club member. In the summer we get together on Catalina for a camping and diving trip, barbeque and swim party, as well as numerous dive trips on privately owned club boats. Elections are annually in December, installation dinner is in January. |
